Weekend Getaway. New York City.

Updated: Apr 15

Picture took at Top Of The Rock

Hi guys!! I am back :)

This time I'll love to share my last weekend getaway from Friday to Monday. I had the opportunity to visit NYC. It was my first time in the city that never sleeps, and it is true, it is hard to sleep in NYC where you have infinite things to do.

I arrived at Newark's airport on Friday at noon. I stayed a little far from Manhattan (in New Jersey), but I planned on enjoying the most that I could while in NYC. Here I will share what I decided to do for each day: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I returned to Houston on Monday.

I will recommend you to buy the 3- Days City pass it is around $80 per person, and you can choose 3 out of these 11 exhibitions:

The link for the CityPASS is down bellow.

For transportation, the weekly metro ticket is a good idea. I also used the NJ transit train; there, you can download their app and pay through it, which is more manageable. Lyft and Uber are perfect options too. Sometimes compare prices; a share Lyft could be $3 and Metro $2.70, so you can pick the one that's better for you. I noticed that Lyft is more popular than Uber there, so keep it in mind.

Here's a small list with addresses of three different days and zones.

Charging Bull.

Get your water bottle (in NYC is safe to drink tap water), portable phone charger, comfortable shoes, and your camera and get ready to enjoy the Big Apple.

PS: Touching the balls of the bull will bring you luck.
